Bible Verse for November 28th.

I posted watchmen over you who said, “Listen for the sound of the alarm.” But you replied, “No! We won’t pay attention!”

Jeremiah 6:17 NLT Bible 

All around the world, God has appointed godly men and women as watchmen, ordaining them with the urgent task of warning people about imminent danger and the need to put an end to immoral and ungodly behaviour. Sadly, many are not listening, instead refusing to pay attention to and heed the alarm being sounded by these messengers of God. As Christian parents and grandparents, we are also watchmen over the children God has given us and it is our duty to alert them to the dangers of life on the wrong path.

We cannot ignore the message from the watchmen God has appointed. We must heed their warnings and get our lives in order! Christ’s coming is imminent and we need to acknowledge Him as our Lord and Saviour and be on the right path living for Him. Our failure to listen and change will impact our time here on earth and our life after death. Today, there are some who may be involved in things that are contrary to and violate the Word of God. The time for change and making God the centre of our lives is now. We must pay attention!

Thank you Lord for the people You have appointed to warn me of wrongdoing. May I always pay attention and heed their warnings. My desire is to live a life that’s pleasing and acceptable to You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
