Bible Verse for September 5th.

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”

Mark 10:27

Today, many people are facing situations that seem impossible. In the natural, it looks hopeless and there appears to be no way out of it, but we are merely viewing it from a human perspective. However, as this verse tells us, with God all things are possible! Many might be dealing with depression, sickness, job loss and children who are not on the right track. Still others may be in bad marriages, struggling with addictions and a host of other apparent impossibilities. They feel that all hope has dwindled and the future seems dismal and bleak. As believers, we cannot succumb to defeat. Sometimes, we are guilty of ‘boxing’ God in and placing limits on Him.

We serve a God who changes impossibilities into possibilities. He parted the Red Sea and the Israelites crossed over to dry land while being pursued by the Egyptians. God provided the lamb for Abraham to sacrifice instead of his son, Isaac and He also created this majestic world that we live in. This is the great God we serve and we need to shake off complacency, fear and doubt and realize that God continues to make the impossible possible. As we wait, we have to keep on trusting, believing, obeying, serving and having faith that God will intervene. We must believe that healing, restoration and deliverance is on its way! We need to shift our focus away from our problems and focus solely on God. Everything is possible with Him. 

Thank you Lord for answered prayer. You know all the issues and difficulties I’m facing and at times I feel discouraged. However, my hope is in You because I know that all things are possible with You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
