Bible Verse for August 29th.

 

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.

Lamentations 3:22-23

In an age where some people are unfaithful to each other, how reassuring it is to know that we serve a great God who is always faithful. People may stop loving us, but our God does not. We can count on Him to love us forever. His love and kindness is infinite and there’s no end to it. God’s faithfulness keeps and sustains us at all times, especially during our periods of doubt and weakness. We all go through different seasons in our lives. Some may bring us great joy, while others may bring us immense pain and heartache. As His children, through every circumstance, we have the complete assurance that we’ll get through it because of His unfailing faithfulness.

If we just pause for a moment, we would realize just how faithful God is. He is faithful in providing for our needs, in watching over us, strengthening us, forgiving us, answering our prayers and the list can go on and on. Our hearts should continually be filled with praise and gratitude for God’s unending faithfulness. The much beloved hymn aptly sums it up by saying, “Great is thy faithfulness, great is thy faithfulness, morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed, Thy hand hath provided, great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me”

Thank you Lord for Your faithfulness and Your mercies! They are new every morning and because of it, I can face each day with confidence. I stand in awe of You. I love you, Jesus! Amen!
