What a reassuring promise from the Word of God! We serve a God who's loving, good and so faithful. It's sad to say, but we live in a world where promises are easily broken and many are unfaithful. We see evidence of this in all kinds of relationships, but how wonderful to know that our God is always good, faithful and true to His promises. Oftentimes, in the midst of trying and difficult circumstances, some may question the will of God and wonder why bad things are happening, but we just have to keep on trusting and believing in His faithfulness. He will not fail us. The storms will cease and peace and calm will prevail.
God's Word tells us that as His children, we can count on His unfailing love and faithfulness being passed on to future generations. God has promised to always be with us and to lead, guide and direct us as we navigate through life. People may stop loving us, but God will love us forever. He is the source of all that is good and pure and holy and is the same yesterday, today and forever. God was faithful in the past, He is faithful in the present and most certainly will be faithful in the future. All generations will witness His goodness, His unfailing love and His faithfulness.
Thank you Lord for Your love and faithfulness. Even when I don't understand why some things happen, I know I can count on Your faithfulness in the midst of the trial and storm. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
