The Author’s Testimony of Healing

I started writing this Daily Devotional Blog, “From My Heart to Yours” in the year 2013. My desire was always to use this area of ministry to reach others with the word of God. I experienced the miracle of healing and in everything I do, my goal is to honour and proclaim the name of Jesus.

Friday July 15, 2016 started off like any normal day. My husband left for work and I was busying myself around the house as the plan for the evening was to visit with my daughter, husband and grandchildren as they would be leaving early on Saturday for a week at the cottage.

In the evening there were the last minute preparations for the vacation so we got the children ready for bed then sat down to dinner. It was not long after that I experienced a debilitating headache and had to be rushed to the hospital. Tests revealed that I suffered a ruptured aneurysm, which was eventually diagnosed as an intracerebral hemorrhage; Arteriovenous Malformation or AVM.

It was a long and arduous journey. There were a few times when I thought I simply couldn’t make it, but I kept reminding myself that I made a pledge to choose life, to keep on fighting and to never give up. I fought day after day and God rewarded me.

In January 2017, I had surgery to remove the residual tissues after the initial embolization. The road ahead wasn’t easy but God was always at my side. Trusting God was all that I could do. Lying alone in my hospital bed, I meditated on the Word of God and held fast to His promises. My neurosurgeons as well as my family doctor said that I am a miracle.

I spent two months in the Hospital and the Rehabilitation Centre. Today, I am totally whole with no physical deficits.

I am so thankful for the medical care I received, for my family, friends and strangers who interceded and prayed for me. I would be lost without their support, love, encouragement and above all, prayers,

God is good and faithful and I give Him all the Praise.
