Bible Verse for March 28th.

Most of the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of Him, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around Him were shouting, "Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!"

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21:8-9‬ ‭
NLT‬‬ Bible

Today, believers around the world celebrate Palm Sunday. It also signals the start of the week leading to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and it's a time when we reflect on the suffering and agony Jesus willingly endured for us. On that day, our Saviour rode into Jerusalem on a donkey while the crowds spread their garments on the road ahead of Him. They paved the roads with palm branches and sang praises to Him. Sadly, in just a week, many of them would be part of the crowd that would cry out for Him to be crucified.

Just as there were so many back then who sang praises to Jesus, there are countless people today who celebrate this day simply going through the motions without fully understanding the magnitude of what He did for us. Jesus suffered and endured unimaginable pain and suffering because of His undying love for us. Today, we need to pause, reflect and internalize all He did for us. What a privilege and honour to join with millions of believers around the world and sing praises to God, thanking Him for being our Lord and Saviour. Because of what Jesus did for us, our sins are forgiven and we have the glorious promise of eternal life.

Thank you Lord for Your Son. I praise and worship Your holy Name. Today, I remember all You did for me and my heart is filled with praise and gratitude. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
