We are living in the midst of an ever changing world, but what a great comfort to know that we serve a God who does not change. Over the years we've seen changes in our government, our laws, technology and climate. On a personal note, we may have seen changes in our jobs, our bodies, our health, relationships and much more. There's no denying that change is swirling all around us and as believers, we need to ensure that we allow the right ones to impact our lives. We cannot control or avoid many of the changes that are happening around us, but we can react to them in a manner that's pleasing to God with principles founded on His Word.

As His children, our hope is in an unchangeable God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. What a glorious promise! In the course of our lives, we will experience change that will bring trials and difficulties, but we serve a God who does not change and is the same. What He did then, He can do now! His promises and precepts are the same. His Word is the same and His plan for our lives is the same. As more changes inevitably occur in our world, we can face them with confidence and without fear knowing that we serve a God who never changes.

Thank you Lord for being the same yesterday, today and forever. So much is changing all around me, but I'm so thankful that You never change. Your promises are the same. May I look to You and the Word to get the right perspective when things are changing. I love you Jesus. Amen!
