We are just a few days away from the start of a brand new year and we can all attest to the fact that this year has been difficult and challenging. Covid-19 has been wreaking havoc globally and so many have tragically succumbed to it. Many people are feeling lost, helpless and alone and wonder when it will all end. They keep hoping that life as we know it would return to some semblance of normalcy.
As this verse tells us, our hope is in God alone and in His unfailing and everlasting love that surrounds us. David faced times of discouragement and great sadness, but through it all, his hope in God remained steadfast and immovable. Given the current situation, things may seem hopeless, but the good news is regardless of what is happening, God's love is constant and unchanging and there is hope in Him. As we enter the new year, we should all cling to God and place our unwavering hope in Him. We must keep hope alive. Brighter days are ahead!
Thank you Lord for Your unfailing love. Things may seem hopeless and I may feel discouraged at times, but through it all my hope is in You alone. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
