We can all attest to the fact that this has been quite a year so far. It seems like the world is spinning out of control and I'm sure many people are wondering if there's anything to be thankful for. The good news is that in spite of all we're facing, there's always something to be thankful for. Each day literally affords us the opportunity to thank God for His many blessings.

As this verse tells us, we can thank God for His goodness and everlasting love. Adding to that, we can also thank Him for His provision, protection, our family and friends, our frontline and essential workers and the list goes on and on. Our first words in the morning should be of praise and thanks to Almighty God for keeping us safe during the night and giving us the privilege to face another day. We can also thank Him for His abiding Presence in our lives and for being with us during both good and bad times. There's no end to the list of things we can thank God for. In fact, giving thanks to God should be a way of life for us.

Thank you Lord for Your goodness and faithfulness. I pray that I will always have a spirit of gratitude in every circumstance in my life. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
