Bible Verse for September 6th.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Psalm 20:7
NKJ Bible

Trust is an integral part of any relationship, but oftentimes people end up feeling violated or betrayed when that trust is broken. We may place our trust in spouses, church leaders, teachers, doctors, colleagues, friends and many others. However, people are imperfect and flawed and can easily break our trust. Others trust in material things, foolishly thinking it will be enough when trials come, but alas, and to their dismay, peace and contentment remains elusive. When we place our trust exclusively in people and things, we are setting ourselves up for failure.

As believers, our trust must be in Almighty God. When we know Him intimately, we can trust in Him. Regardless of the outcome, we are assured of peace, joy and hope. We need to always remember that God is our Comforter, Provider, Protector, Deliverer, Shepherd, Helper and Saviour. Can we really say that about anyone else or anything? People will fail, things will crumble and disappear, but God remains faithful and true to the very end. He is worthy of our love and trust.

Thank you Lord for caring for me. People may fail and betray my trust and material things will fade, but You are always with me. Regardless of what I am facing, I can have peace of mind because of You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!
Lydia
