So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

It's such and honour and privilege to come to God on our own. We don't have to schedule an appointment or wait in line to talk to Him. He is always available to meet with us, anytime and anyplace. All that's required is for us to come to Him just as we are, with all our flaws, imperfections and weaknesses. God doesn't judge us or minimize our fears and failures. In fact, He readily gives us His mercy and as this verse tells us, it's during our time with Him, we find grace to help us when we need it most.
People may pray and intercede on our behalf, but that does not negate the simple truth that we can talk to God boldly and confidently on our own. We can praise and worship Him, share our deepest concerns, fears, failures, dreams, struggles and weaknesses. Nothing is off limit with God and it's during our intimate time with Him when we can be vulnerable and unburden ourselves with no fear of guilt or shame. We need to always remember that we have direct access and instant connection to Almighty God. There is absolutely no need for us to be timid or afraid as we can draw near to Him with boldness and confidence. In His presence we find everything we need.
Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. What an awesome privilege to know that I can come boldly and confidently to Your throne. Lord, I receive Your mercy and grace. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
