In a chaotic and ever changing world that seems to be slowly crumbling around us, we can cling to the unshakable truth that God is our refuge and strength. It doesn't matter what we face in life, He is always ready and able to help us. Regardless of what is happening around us, with God we are always safe and secure.
When we are weak and feel as if we're sapped of all our energy, God is our strength. He steps in and fills us with power and strength to move on. When we feel lost and alone or utterly forsaken by others, He is our refuge, protection and shelter. During this time when there seems to be trouble all around us and people are filled with thoughts of doom and gloom, God is ready to help us. All we need to do is ask Him. Amidst the fears and uncertainty of this pandemic sweeping across the world, we still don't have to give in to despair. We can forge ahead knowing that God is a safe place to hide and He's a present help in our times of trouble.
Thank you Lord for being my refuge and strength. I know You are always ready to help in times of trouble. Help me to never give in to despair but to always turn to You for help. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
