Bible Verse for March 22nd.

I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises.

Psalm 34:1

God covets our praise. As His children, we are to praise Him at all times. This means that we do it regardless of how we are feeling or what's going on in our lives. We are to praise Him when we're happy or sad, in good or bad times, during times of chaos and turmoil and when we're feeling overwhelmed with fear. 

We can't control the things that happen, but we can control our response and it should be one of praise to our God. He alone is our Healer, Protector, Provider, Rock, Fortress and Deliverer. When we praise God we acknowledge His love, faithfulness and goodness. Praise ushers us into the presence of God and draws us closer to Him. As we praise Him, our problems seem smaller, His peace fills us, our spirits are calmed and hope fills our minds.

Amid the fear and uncertainty being experienced during this pandemic, we as children of God need to focus on His faithfulness and love. We do so by praising Him constantly. 

Thank you Lord for Your abiding love and faithfulness. You are worthy to be praised and I bless Your holy Name. Your praise shall continually be on my lips. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
