Life is unpredictable and things can happen when we least expect it. Our world is in a troubled and chaotic state and every day we are bombarded with tragic events that threaten our inner peace and safety. However, we don't need to succumb to fear or the urge to seclude ourselves from everyday life.
As believers, all we need to do is run to God. He is our strong and impenetrable fortress and He will keep us safe, secure and unscathed from the problems we face in life. Whatever situation we find ourselves in, we have the assurance that God will protect and preserve us. All that's required for us to be safe is to call on Him.
Thank you Lord for being my strong fortress. Regardless of the problems in my life and the upheaval in the world, I know I can run to you and feel safe and secure. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
