Bible Verse for July 21st.

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Luke 18:1

Sometimes we get discouraged when we feel our prayers aren't being answered. We may even think that God is not hearing us and there's no point in praying. This is just a ploy of the enemy to sidetrack us from crying out to Him. Jesus told his disciples that they should always pray and never give up. He illustrated this truth by telling them of a widow who persistently pleaded with a judge to settle a dispute with an enemy. Soon the judge relented and gave in to her requests.

Likewise, we are to be persistent in our prayers. Whatever our need, we are to pray unceasingly. God's timing is not the same as ours. Rest assured and be encouraged that He is listening and will answer. 

Thank you Lord for hearing my prayer. May I always be faithful and persistent in prayer. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
