Once again a new year has dawned upon us. Resolutions are uppermost on the minds of many as we zero in on how to make the most of the new year. We may plan on making changes in our finances, diet, weight, relationships and the list goes on and on. While there's merit to many of these resolutions, by far the greatest one we can make concerns our relationship with Jesus.
As this verse tells us, our desire should be to let our roots penetrate deeply into God and to allow our lives to be built on Him. We can only do this by drawing closer to Him through prayer and time in His Word. Only then will our faith grow and allow us to be rooted, steadfast and immoveable in Him.
Thank you for your love, Lord. As we enter another new year, my desire is to know you more intimately and to deepen my walk with you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
