Am I my brother's keeper?

As children of God we cannot live isolated lives, concerned only about our personal affairs and well being. We have to be our brother's keeper. All around us, people are lonely and in dire emotional pain. They carry on with their daily activities with smiles plastered on their faces masking deep feelings of loneliness and depression.
We have to genuinely care and reach out to those around us and be concerned about what's going on in their lives. It's true, we have to tell about God's love, but most importantly we have to show it. Jesus was invested in everyone He met and if we want to truly live for Him, we have to do likewise.
Thank you Lord for caring for me. Give me a heart of love and compassion. Help me to reach out to those who are hurting. Let me love as You love. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
