Bible Verse for December 3rd.

For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbour as yourself!"

Galatians 5:14

NLT Bible

The command to love our neighbour is repeated over and over again in the Word of God. However, many of us grapple with this, finding it difficult to love some people. It's easy to love people who are like-minded and easy to get along with. However, for many, the difficulty arises in being able to love those who are different, have opposing beliefs, are easily angered or have hurt us in the past.

We must recognize that we are all different and unique and have our own beliefs, quirks and personalities. Nevertheless, this should never affect our ability to love. We may not like some of the things people say and do, but our duty is to love them anyway. The world would be a better place if we spent our time in actively loving others instead of focusing on their differences.

Thank you Lord for loving me. Help me to love my neighbours and let it be evident in my words and actions. I love you, Jesus. Amen!

Be Blessed!

Lydia
