Many times on a road trip, we arrive at a junction and are clueless as where we should go next. We consult our road map or navigation system for directions and then we're on our way again. Similarly, in life, we need direction to determine the path we should take. We get to a point where so many choices are before us and we are in a quandary as to which one is right for us.

As believers, God will tell us the path we should take, but we must be in a relationship with Him to hear Him speak. We have to be silent, block out the well meaning voices and distractions and focus on His voice. We must then be willing to obey Him and follow where He leads us. When we do, doors open for us and things that seemed unattainable before are now within our reach. It all begins with listening when God speaks to us.

Thank you Lord for speaking to me. I need Your guidance and direction. Help me to block out the distractions around me. Where You lead I will follow. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
