At any given time, people are dealing with a host of issues and problems. They spend every waking moment trying to come up with solutions and then go to bed, only to lie awake worrying about it. We don't have to live like this. If we let Him, God will fight our battles. We just need to take a step back, relinquish control, stay calm and allow God to work.

Many of us are 'fixers'. We want to solve every problem and make things better for our friends, loved ones and ourselves. In the process, we hinder God from working on the problem. When we let go and let God fight our battles, good things begin to happen. Our job is simply to give our burdens to God, bask in His Presence, stay calm and let Him work. God has the final say.

Thank you Lord for fighting my battles. Today, I relinquish control and my desire to fix everything on my own. I surrender it all to you and I thank you for hearing me. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
