Bible Verse for May 9th.

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources, He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.

Ephesians 3:16

God's strength is sufficient for whatever we're facing in life. His resources are unlimited and we can rely on Him for everything. At any given time, things crop up that overwhelm us, but we don't have to cave in or flounder aimlessly to stay afloat. We just need to tap into the unlimited resources God provides for us and when we do, His strength empowers us and we are overcomers.

There are some who look to other people for strength, but while we can get support and encouragement from them, the inner strength needed to be victorious comes from God alone. We have full access to this as we draw closer and closer to Him through prayer and the Word. When we do, our strength is renewed and refreshed and we can face the struggles of life with confidence. It's all because of Him.

Thank you Lord for Your strength. It empowers me to face life head on. Your strength gives me confidence and hope. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
