Bible Verse for April 7th.

Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

1 Corinthians 3:16

We are the temple of God and each one of us is uniquely created in His image. As such, we need to value and treasure our bodies and do all we can to bring honour and glory to Him. We must make every effort to look after ourselves emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. This is doable as we continually seek God's help in ridding ourselves of anything that would violate and desecrate our bodies and dishonour Him.

However, we don't have to do it on our own. The Spirit of God resides in each one of us and gives us power, strength, courage and determination to live godly lives and keep our bodies healthy and whole. We have a responsibility to rid ourselves of negative thoughts and harmful behaviour and keep ourselves pure and holy. It is the only way God can live in us.

Thank you Lord for Your Holy Spirit that lives in me. You created me and I am special and unique. I want everything in my life to bring honour and glory to you, I love you, Jesus. Amen!
