Bible Verse for April 5th.

The Lord is watching everywhere, keeping His eye on both the evil and the good.

Proverbs 15:3

As children, many of us were amazed that our mothers always seemed to know what we were doing. However, occasionally, we could hide some things from them. Not so with God. There is nothing we can hide from Him. He sees every good deed and likewise, every bad action. God knows our innermost thoughts and sees us as no other person can. He is watching everywhere, keeping an eye on all that is good and evil.

When we engage in kind deeds, God looks on approvingly and when we react angrily, He also sees and is saddened. God is privy to all our actions anytime and anywhere. We may try to hide our kind deeds from others along with our bad habits and indiscretions, but He watches every single action. Nothing escapes Him and as His children, this fact should spur us on to always do what is right and pleasing to Him.

Thank you Lord for watching over me. There is nothing that is hidden from you. I pray that my actions will always be pleasing and honourable to you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
