Bible Verse for March 29th.

So think clearly and exercise self control.

Many of our problems can be avoided if we would think clearly and exercise self control. Oftentimes, we react immediately and impulsively with no thought about the consequences of our actions. When we lack self control, we act on our emotions. We allow fear, frustration, anger, jealousy, greed and other undesirable qualities to dictate our behaviour.

When faced with situations, we need to pause and prayerfully weigh our options. Empathy and compassion for others must be evident and love and adherence to God's Word must dominate our behaviour. Samson was a man who loved God, but in many situations, he was unable to think clearly and exercise self control, and this eventually led to his tragic demise. Each day, we need to surrender ourselves to God and allow Him to direct our actions.

Thank you Lord for Your guidance. Help me to think clearly and exercise self control in all situations. Let love and obedience to your Word be the motivation for all I say and do. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
