Bible Verse for April 26th.

Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God."

Jesus told His disciples to have faith in God and He is saying the same thing to us today. If we truly believe in Him, we will recognize that He is our God who saves, heals, delivers and is true to His Word. Sometimes we allow doubt to creep in and this robs us of our faith. We may be praying for something, but in the natural, nothing is happening and so we begin to question and doubt that God is able to meet our need. When this happens, we should read the many accounts of people in the Bible who had their needs met because of their implicit faith in God.

Regardless of the valley we're in, we must keep faith alive. We cannot allow anything to squelch our faith and rob us of our victory. God has given each of us a measure of faith and we need to activate it daily by claiming His promises and stepping out in faith. Our faith must come from deep within our soul, that absolute assurance that God will do what He has promised. When we have faith in God, we can have victory over our circumstance.

Thank you Lord for the measure of faith You've given me. Help me to have an active faith, to completely trust you for everything in my life. May I never give in to doubt or despair. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
