We will be remembered long after we've passed away by the people whose lives we've touched during our time on earth. The reasons will vary for everyone and the way we live each day is the determining factor. There are some who may stir up sad, haunting and even painful memories because they've lived selfishly, been abusive, harsh, unkind, mean-spirited and uncaring to everyone around them.

As children of God, we should want to be remembered for living righteous lives in a manner that brings honour and glory to Almighty God. This means living each day in obedience and service to Him and letting our lives be a continuous reflection of His love, compassion, faithfulness, kindness and humility. Our loved ones, friends and acquaintances should be impacted by our words and actions and want to emulate us long after we've passed away. Our desire should be to leave a godly legacy and the only way to do it is by loving, serving and honouring God during our time here on earth.

Thank you Lord for loving me. My desire is to serve and honour you all the days of my life, to let everything I say and do reflect you. Help me to live a righteous and holy life and be a blessing to others. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
