You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

Attitude is very important as it impacts our behaviour and actions. As believers, we need to have a godly attitude and Christ Jesus is our perfect example. He exemplified humility, kindness, compassion and love. Our Heavenly Father mingled with the poor and destitute, respected everyone and cared deeply for those who were sick and hurting. Being in a relationship with God means becoming like Him, allowing His attributes and characteristics to be evident in us.

Our prayer should be to see ourselves transformed in His image. It's not an overnight process, but one we must work at everyday. Our response in every situation should be to react as Jesus would. His love and compassion for people was always evident in the way He responded. Many times, we can be proud, unkind, unforgiving, lack sympathy, look down on others or be oblivious to the pain they are experiencing. We must work diligently to change our attitude and become more like Christ and it can happen as we fellowship with Him and allow His Word to transform our lives,

Thank you Lord for being the perfect example. My desire is to be more like you, to have an attitude of love, kindness, compassion and humility. I pray that my attitude will always reflect you. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
