Bible Verse for November 9th.

And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

God has promised to provide for the needs of His children. Many of us are privileged to have our daily needs met and also to have plenty left over. This is not for us to hoard and clutch tightly to ourselves, but to share with those around us who are in need. As children of God, giving should come naturally to us. We should always want to give of our finances and time, but sadly, this proves to be quite difficult for many. It's somewhat ironic, but sometimes the people who don't have much are the ones who love to give.

God blesses us so that we can bless others. Each day abounds with opportunities to do this. We can be generous with the people who serve and help us as we go about our daily activities. We can help a homeless person or someone struggling to pay their rent or buy groceries. Our eyes have to be opened to the needs of our brothers and sisters. We can also support valid programs and ministries that spread the gospel and provide for the hungry and needy. We do all this because we love God and want to obey, honour and glorify Him, with absolutely no desire to be acknowledged or rewarded. However, God sees our hearts and the kind things we do and He will continue to provide for us and bless us. His Word assures us of that.

Thank you Lord for Your provision. You generously provide for me and in turn, I want to share with those who are in need. Open my eyes, Lord, to the needs around me and help me to never withhold what You've given to me from anyone in need. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
