Bible Verse for May 28th.

But The Lord is in His holy Temple; The Lord rules from heaven. He watches everyone closely, examining every person on earth.

Psalm 11:4

God rules from heaven and He sees everything we do. Nothing escapes Him and we cannot hide from Him. If we think that we can commit an indiscretion and no one will know, we are only fooling ourselves. God sees what we are doing and will judge us accordingly. So many times, as believers, we dishonour God by our words and actions and because we believe that no one is aware of what we are doing, we continue down that wrong path. We need to ask God to forgive us and then make every effort to live wholesome and pleasing lives.

When we recognize that God is watching and examining our actions, we will strive to live for Him every minute of every day. We will want to please Him in the things we say and do. This means we will be mindful of the shows we watch, the conversations we engage in and the way we treat others. We will be kind, respectful and will honour God in all we do. This is an ongoing process, but as we fellowship with God and spend time in His Word, we are edified and strengthened and receive the help we need to live honourably for Almighty God.

Thank you Lord for Your Presence. Help me God, to live each day doing the things that would please and honour you. I cannot hide from you, Lord. You see everything and I want my life to reflect You. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
