Love is the most important attribute for the child of God. It is at the very core of all that we believe and encompasses every quality we need, if we want our lives to be a testimony for Christ. When we clothe ourselves with love, it is evident in everything we do and say and it propels us to be kind, compassionate, caring, generous, forgiving and understanding. We cannot say we love God and not love people. We may disapprove of their negative and hurtful behaviour, but love causes us to look beyond that and see the good that's within them. When we do this, our love becomes the catalyst for change in their lives.

Love binds us together in perfect harmony and is able to break down barriers of hatred, strife, cultural and racial differences. During times of pain, grief, tragedy, struggles and trials, love keeps us from despair and gives us the strength to carry on. As believers, we are being watched and if God truly lives in our hearts, love will be evident in our lives, by the way we treat everyone, especially those who are difficult to love. If love is not visible, our testimony is useless. We are all flawed and different, but love is the glue that binds us together.

Thank you Lord for Your great love. Help me Lord, to clothe myself with love and to love others regardless of their differences and peculiarities. Let love be the motivation for all I say and do and may it bind us together in perfect harmony. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
