Bible Verse for April 14th.

I know The Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.

Psalm 16:8

This is such a wonderful affirmation of God's promise to always be with us. Nothing can shake or destroy us because He is right beside us. There's no need for us to throw our hands up in despair or give in to fear because God is watching over us. It's a promise that's repeated over and over again in His Word and one that we need to allow to penetrate our very being. We face various circumstances every day and if we truly know Jesus as Saviour and Lord, we have the assurance that all will be well. We don't have to be overwhelmed by the problems of life.

We have to do our part to remain steadfast and strong in The Lord. We must meditate on His Word, allow His truths to sink into our spirits and also spend time in prayer with God. We have to be walking with Him and obeying His precepts to fully claim this promise, but when we do, our lives take a different turn. We can face anything head on because God is with us, right beside us, holding us close to Him. As we keep our eyes on Him, we are guaranteed His strength, guidance and protection.

Thank you Lord for always being with me. I know that no harm will come to me, because You are always with me, holding my hand and I will not be shaken. I surrender my life to You, Lord. I love you, Jesus. Amen!
