Bible Verse for March 19th.

If God is for us, who can ever be against us.

Romans 8:31

At a time when so much is stacked against us, this is a wonderful promise to appropriate. There's no denying, that for the child of God, at any given time, problems abound, but we can be confident that with God on our side, absolutely nothing can harm us. There are times when we will be bombarded with all kinds of challenges.....sickness, loss of loved ones, financial woes, problems at work, wayward children, relationships gone bad, caring for aging parents and on and on. Thank goodness for this assurance!

Psalm 118:6 reiterates this promise that if God is for us, we have nothing to fear. We need to have faith and confidence that nothing can harm us because God is on our side. We are His elect, His chosen and we have to walk in it, to think, act and live as if we really believe it. Regardless of what we're facing, there's no one or anything that has the power to harm or destroy us.

The outcome may not always be as we envisioned, but come what may, God is on our side and we will have the strength, grace and courage to endure. With God on our side, victory is ours.

Thank you Lord for the assurance that nothing can harm me, because You are on my side. Help me to claim this promise and live accordingly. Thank you Lord for equipping me with strength and courage to face any situation. I love you Jesus. Amen!
