Bible Verse for February 23rd.

But Peter said, "I don't have any silver or gold for you. But I'll give you what I have. In
the Name of Jesus Christ, the Nazarene, get up and walk!"

There's power in the name of Jesus. Whatever we're facing, regardless of how difficult it
may seem, just the mention of His Name eases our pain and despair. All around us, we
hear people take the Name of Jesus in vain, without even recognizing the gravity of what
they are doing. We need to recognize that there's power and authority in the Name of
Jesus and as His children we can use His Name with confidence and command the devil
to take his grips off our family, our finances, our health and any other situation that's
plaguing us. We have to shake off our timidity and claim our healing and deliverance in
the Name of Jesus.

The Bible says that at the Name of Jesus, every knee will bow and confess Him as
Saviour and Lord. People change, situations change, but our Lord Jesus is the same,
yesterday, today and forever. We need to be thankful that we have the great privilege of
asking for what we need in the wonderful Name of Jesus, knowing that He will hear and
answer us. There is nothing better than knowing Jesus.

Thank you Lord Jesus for dying for me, for loving me. Lord, You are the same,
yesterday, today and forever.....You never change. Help me to use the authority that I
have in Your Name to bring change to situations. My desire is to live for You. I love you,
Jesus. Amen!
